This was one of my first projects in my first year of university. The brief for this project being pattern matching and designing for one of the characters from the Commedia Dell'arte. I chose Flavio and started by researching his characteristics to create a pair of men’s Regency breeches that suits his qualities. The elaborate hand embroidery fitted with him and was something that started on my journey with finding my own hand embroidery style.
