About me
I am currently a third-year student at Nottingham Trent University, soon to be graduate of Design for Stage and Screen: Costume Design and Construction. With the knowledge that I also learned from college, this was developed and improved as I came to university.
Over the last few years I have expanded my knowledge, learnt many new skills and techniques. I have learnt and practiced both sides of Costume with the designing and the making. With this I preferred to make and construct the costumes also with a skill that I have loved for years prior to university, Hand Embroidery.
Being at university I have been able to develop and push my skills within the technique. My interest in the smaller details and creating unique and eye-catching embroidery details within each individual character design. I have a particular passion for History, something that I have enjoyed since GCSE’s and have continued this all the way through university. I am especially interested in historical garments.
